Location and Directions
The Center for Geographic Information Systems (CGIS) is located on the campus of Georgia Institute of Technology in midtown Atlanta. CGIS is co-located in the College of Architecture Annex building [marker C below] with the Building Construction program on the second floor.

- Exit 10th and 14th St [# 250] - Turn left on 10th St [away from Midtown] - Turn left on State St - continue until stop sign at Ferst Dr. - Crossover Ferst Dr. to visitor parking lot # 4. |
- Exit 17th / 14th / 10th St [# 84] - Keep right at the fork, follow signs for 17th St. - Turn right on 17th - Turn left onto State St [2nd light] - Continue on State until stop sign at Ferst Dr [1 mile] - Crossover Ferst Dr. to visitor parking lot # 4. |

- Exit lot # 4 and take a right on to Ferst Dr. - Continue on Ferst until the 1st light, Atlantic drive. - Turn right on Atlantic and continue until you reach the end of the Computer Science building on your left [500 ft]. - Turn left in between the Computer Science building and the Petit Microelectronics building (orange signs to East campus) and follow the stairs down to the walkway below. - At the bottom of the stairs, take your first right. The GIS Center is located on the 2nd floor of the two story building on your right, the COA Annex. |
Taking MARTA to Georgia Tech Campus:
The Georgia Tech Trolley is available from the Midtown MARTA station to various points on campus. The GT Parking & Transportation web site has more information.
